The Haasestrasse client group is constructing six modern new-builds with a total of eighty apartments and commercial units in the Revaler Strasse quartier. An urban block previously only occupied by small businesses will be enclosed with a perimeter block development.
Veauthier Architects are planning “House 2”, a six-storey building with 12 apartments and an underground garage. Each floor has two units offering living space ranging from 110 to 125 m2. The ground floor is built as a half-storey staggered mezzanine floor with ground level access to the garden / courtyard. In this way privacy is set up towards the street, while an economical solution for the underground garage is also enabled. The planning in the upper floors allows the apartments to access both sides: each apartment has balconies overlooking both street and courtyard. The two top floor apartments have terraces that extend over the entire width of the building.
Alternating pale render and dark windows lend rhythm to the façade.
