The Tempelherren Primary School sports hall, used both for school and local club sports, has been fully structurally and energetically refurbished. The length of the hall was previously clad in different shades of green fibre-cement panels, while the exposed aggregate concrete slabs across the width of the hall were clad in thermal insulation panels with a plaster finish, with the panels echoing the matrix of the original facade.
The entire changing rooms and hall area was found in poor condition and was thus stripped back to the structural shell. The building was newly fitted out in accordance with current regulations and guidelines as disabled accessible and safe from vandalism.
